Kathak Costumes:

Original costumes of Kathak was Legha, Choli with dupatta. Present costume of Kathak dance is influenced by Mughal and Hindu Courts.

Gents use the wear ChudidarPayajama, Angarakha, Dupatta and Topi, orPagadi some time on head.

Ladies use to wear either Peshawaj, means Frock, ChurdidarPayajama, Jacket, Chunni and Topi which is an Islamic costume or they wear Ghagara (lahaga).

Suitaleornamanents on head, ear, nose, neck, around the waist and hands are also being worn.
